RMI’s U-20 laser marking system utilize Nd:YVO4 technology. Nd:YVO4 lasers feature several inherent advantages over other types of laser systems. Nd:YVO4 lasers are more energy efficient. This means that the U-20 laser marking system can achieve a more precise mark while consuming less power. Lower power consumption eliminates the need for large, external power supplies and cooling system. Also, Nd:YVO4 lasers can achieve a smaller spot size and higher energy density, making it ideal for marking on highly reflective surfaces like gold, silver, aluminum, high polished stainless steel and other metals. Nd:YVO4 technology is key in extending the life of our laser diodes which in turn allows us to offer an industry best 3 year warranty.
